Geocaching 101

April 7, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunt that can be played just about everywhere (there is even a cache on the international space station!) and by just about anybody. Great for individuals or families alike, the sport is easily adjustable to you.
Did you know there are 141 within five miles of the library!? Join us for a discussion about cache types, tech, and tips and tricks from local seasoned cachers, and hands-on demonstration.
Whether you’ve done caching before or you’ve never heard of it at all, we’d love to have you join us

The Middle Tennessee Geocachers Club meets approximately every 6 weeks to discuss the latest happenings in the caching world and to learn more about the sport. For a nominal annual fee of $5.00 you can be a part of the cutting edge of caching in Middle Tennessee, come to our meetings, learn valuable information from fellow cachers, and have fun making new friends. There is a geocache for the Battle of Franklin. For more information, visit http://www.mtgc.org/
