Literary Ladies Book Club

Our July book is All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Marie-Laure, a blind French girl and Werner, a German boy, grow up and meet occupied France in the village of Saint-Malo, while both try to survive the devastation of World War II.
Our August book is Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult. This is the story of how a small town deals with a tragedy that lasted nineteen minutes. The star witness has a hazy memory and the town is feeling divided.
The Literary Ladies Book Group meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room of the Main Library in Franklin, except for January and February. New members are always welcome.
