Scam Prevention with the Council on Aging

April 18, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

One in five Americans 65+ has been a victim of scams & fraud cases, sources say. Senior adults are often the target of scams because it’s widely assumed that seniors have a “nest egg”, own their home, or have excellent credit. We will outline the most popular scams, identify why seniors are targeted, and pinpoint what can be done to prevent these scams from happening to you! Join us as Paula Daigle, Council on Aging Directory & Project Manager, gives us the information we need to know.

For more than 10 years Paula Daigle has been a part of COA’s efforts to match solutions with unmet needs for senior adults and their caregivers in Middle Tennessee. Paula coordinates and researches information for the Directory of Services for Seniors in addition to coordinating educational programs throughout the mid state area.
