A flash flood watch remains in effect across Middle Tennessee and parts of southern Kentucky until 3 p.m. Monday.

Strong storms moved through the area on Sunday with strong wind gusts and penny-sized hail in some places. More heavy rain is expected overnight and into Monday morning.

The watch covers all of Middle Tennessee and the following counties in Kentucky: Logan, Simpson, Warren, Allen, Barren, Monroe, Cumberland and Clinton.

Minor street flooding was reported in Franklin and Mt. Juliet on Sunday afternoon.

Strong winds toppled a tree in Ridgetop, Robertson County.

If you see water on the ground, turn around and don’t drown.
