Favorite Things Party

Our Holiday event is a BIG HIT so make plans now to attend and celebrate the season with your NAAC sisters! We will be playing “My Favorite Things”~ each guest will need to bring 5 of the same items priced at $5 to $7 (wrapped or bagged, please).
Here’s a description of the game: The concept originated from Oprah’s “My Favorite Things” show. It’s a great alternative to Dirty Santa or the traditional gift exchanges. Everyone is asked to bring five of their favorite things as gifts. Each gift must be exactly the same and in the $5 to $7 price range. When you arrive, you’ll need to write your name on 5 slips of paper and drop them in a bag or basket. After some mingling over cocktails and appetizers, we’ll all gather together to play the game! Barb, as hostess, will kick off the game by standing up and sharing what gift she brought and why it’s her favorite thing. She will then deliver her gifts to each of the five gals whose names she drew from the bag. One of the five gift recipients will volunteer to share and distribute her favorite things, and so on and so on. At the end of the night, we will all go home with five incredibly cute and creative gifts of our own!

Please plan to bring a potluck appetizer or dish, preferably in a disposable container.
You can also bring a festive beverage of your choice!
