Franklin Classic

As one of the most popular races in Middle Tennessee, the Franklin Classic is a community-wide event that strives to raise financial support for Mercy Community Healthcare while promoting wellness and fitness for children, families, and the community. Last year, over 2,300 participants gathered at the square in Historic Downtown Franklin to partake in the day’s festivities. This year marks the 39th Anniversary of the prominent event, which we hope to be its most successful year yet!
Mission of Mercy Community Healthcare: “To reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL and support to their families.”
Mercy Community Healthcare is a non-profit in Franklin, TN that offers primary healthcare to pediatrics and adults, integrated behavioral health, counseling, on-site pharmacy, family and patient support and much more. With us being a non-profit we must raise over $1 million a year to serve our 8,000 patients that call Mercy their medical home. We accept all insurance to no insurance, but even with a sliding scale program based on the federal poverty guidelines, a lot of our patients still cannot afford services. With the help of our biggest fundraiser, on Labor Day, September 4, 2017, we are able to provide excellent services to the patient and family.

7:00 AM – 10K Run
9:10 AM – 5K Run/Walk
10:30 AM – 1K Kids Fun Run
