Literary Ladies Book Club

Our April book is The Farm by Tim Rob Smith. Daniel’s parents had retired and moved to Sweden. He thought wall was well with them until he received a phone call from his father telling him that his mother in not well, that she’s had a breakdown. Before he leaves to go help out, he receives a call from his mother saying everything he’s been told is a lie.
The May book will be Commonwealth by Ann Patchett. Commonwealth is the story of two broken families and the paths their lives take over the course of 40 years, through love and marriage, death and divorce, and a dark secret from childhood that lies underneath it all.
The Literary Ladies Book Club meets the third Monday of each month (except when there is a holiday) in the Board Room of the main branch at the Franklin location. The Board Room is on the second floor of the library. The book group reads all genres and non-fiction too! We welcome new members.
