State of the County Address by Mayor Rogers Anderson

Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson is set to deliver his eighth annual State of the County Address to a crowd of more than 400 business leaders on July 26 at Williamson, Inc.’s Business Luncheon, presented by Williamson Medical Center. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs, 700 Cool Springs Blvd. in Franklin.
The State of the County will bring together the many departments that keep Williamson County running. The Parks Department will showcase their new Academy Park facility. New motorcycles from the Public Safety Department will be on display. And, of course, the Williamson County Fair cow will be on hand to promote the upcoming festivities.
Anderson’s speech will give an overview of how the county is performing on economic indicators such as financial health, education, public safety, transportation, job growth and capital investments. Anderson will outline the county’s budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year.
