City of Franklin Presents Family Day—November 2 at Harlinsdale Farm
Hayrides, Fishing, Touch-a-Tractor, Music and More—All for Free
Franklin— Come to The Park at Harlinsdale Farm for the Annual Franklin Parks’ Family Day on November 2nd. Family Day is a free festival open to the public and will take place from 10 AM – 2 PM at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, located at 239 Franklin Road, across the street from The Factory in Historic Franklin.
Franklin Parks’ Family Day offers many opportunities for families to have a great time on this historical farm. The festival features activities like miniature train rides, hay rides, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Festival attendees can also enjoy cane pole fishing in the pond. New this year, a Touch-a-Tractor area sponsored by Tri Green Equipment, which will consist of small excavators the kids can operate and large tractors the kids can sit on. All rides and activities are free to attendees.Many horse related events will happen in the Tractor Supply Arena this year, sponsored by Friends of Franklin Parks. See the schedule below.

Food will be offered for purchase by local food vendors. Visitors can also listen to some great music with Patrick Carpenter’s 5-member band at 11:00 am and again at 12:45 pm.
