City Projects

The Capital Projects Division of the Engineering Department is responsible for the management and coordination of engineering studies and design plans, the acquisition of rights-of-way and easements for most of the City’s public infrastructure improvements, and the management of construction for City-funded projects. The majority of engineering studies and designs are contracted, via Professional Services Agreements, to various consulting firms. The negotiation for and the recommendation of these agreements are the Engineering Department’s responsibility.
