Williamson County Government Mayor’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Internal Auditor. Responsible for developing and implementing internal audit program to aid management in evaluating operations. Performs internal audits to assess accuracy of financial records including but not limited to: grant compliance, County revenues, expenditures, inventories, payroll, contracts, and similar operations.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, minimum two years internal/external auditing required. Preference given to those with government audit experience. Prefer 3 to 5 years of government audit experience and possesses or ability to obtain CFE certification.
Individual must have the ability and be able to work independently. Must have effective communication and presentation skills, as well as interpersonal skills. Must be able to perform complex arithmetic, algebraic, and statistical analysis. Must demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior such as honesty and trustworthiness.

Location: Franklin, TN
Salary: 55,500 – 70,340 per year
